Just going to tell, plus a little bit about her experience here. So why don't you start off your name? I just school. My name is Kaylie Heinz and I chose the school because it's been a tradition in my family for a lot of years. When I finally came to visit when I was starting to think seriously about what I wanted with school, it's the place that was fun. Um Okay, well, like scraps to body a little bit like somebody the student body is huge on. I find that to be a really positive thing because you couldn't find your people anywhere. There's a lot of different types of people that Yeah, Hey, guys, interview it's okay. There's a lot of different people you could meet that are interested in different things that have different backgrounds, that you what you could learn from. There's a lot of different amazing organizations that you could get involved in. Just because you have so many great people other than me. You want to describe your major, you have a measure is urban planning. That isthe essentially policy A designer of cities and going into school I was originally I decided just wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to dio Is you something creative but also be able to make a living off of it. So through the help of advisors in my family, I was able to find a major. You want to tell me a little bit about time and what you did if you make you there? Yeah. So I went abroad to trick my Thailand this past semester, Junior spring and I went to a sustainable studies institute in Thailand where I focused on learning about seasonable development and simple food systems as well as agriculture. The politics of a country like Thailand is, well, a CZ. Things like ocean conservation, and these were all kind of things that weren't exactly things that I knew a lot about, but because of the experience broad and people that I that I was able to turn about these really important subjects. Finally, why don't you just tell me the best and the worst part of you? I start with the worst because I don't want to and I'm a negative note. I think the worst is that there is a possibility that if you don't put yourself out there and meet people and really make an effort to join different organizations, reach out to people. There's a possibility that you won't be able, Tio, reach your goals and succeed the whole extent that you possibly can hear. Going off for that, that's one of the also the best parts about being a U of I And it's if you are, give yourself the possibility, chill mean on your peers and lean on your advisors and all these people that you have around you. You can really take advantage of this people and resources and really make the most out of this experience.
