The Arch
The arch is an iconic symbol of UGA. The three pillars stand for wisdom, justice and moderation. As a graduation day tradition, graduates line up to walk under the arch as a symbolic completion of their four years at UGA. Be careful though, some say if you walk under the arch before graduating you won't graduate!

The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
As you probably noticed, my first video, the thing behind me is our big, beautiful arch. It is a symbol of our campus, and once everybody graduates, they line up on graduation day to go under the arch as a symbol of finishing college. U g et There's actually a miss, but I don't really think it's a myth that if you walk under the arch before you graduate, then it is bad luck. Which is why, if you look really closely, the path around the arch is a lot more worn than actual path under the arch, so be careful.
