Everybody was here to talk to you about what the game day experience is like and what it's like being a student athlete here at the University of Delaware. We have our football team or basketball team, the rowing team, which I'm a part of soccer teams across field, talking tennis and the list goes on. So here you D. Everybody is super proud to believe, be a blue head and we really like to show that. So here I met on the rule Oh stadium, where the field hockey team plays, and these fans are all filled with a lot of cheering fans. Every single game, people get all dressed up wearing their blue and gold. People all bring their friends, and it's a really great experience. The school also likes to put on different tailgate, so oftentimes will rent out things like bouncy castles and give us lots of free food. It's a really great time on the topic of free stuff. They always like to give us free stuff in the Games like scars had shirts. It's really cool yeah, it's really is such a great day. Um, I love game day, and they really make a big deal about it. Um, we have this thing every Friday before a game where the cheerleaders will go around campus, pumping everybody up. We have our two mascots, you D and Baby Blue, which are two little blue hens, and they're at every game really getting people excited. Fact, we have a little bucket list at you, D And if you get a picture with one of the two mascots, that's one thing you can check off the bucket list. So next I'll talk about what it's like being a student athlete here, which is probably like, my favorite thing about being a blue hand. So not only do I have like over fifty teammates, which are all my best friends, but I also have this bigger network of all the student athletes here, and we can really relate to things on the lot different levels. We have a bunch of different like student athlete only events which are really fun. Really great toe know all these other people I'm just to be part of something bigger, and it's cool. If it makes you a leader on campus as a student athlete and it really makes you stand out, it's something so great to be a part of, and being part of rowing like is so amazing. I've been rowing through high school and now in college, and it's like, I love it just so much. I can't describe it, But growing is awesome sports here. If you're not into a division one sport like we are, there's clubs, sports, intramural sports. So it's It's so fun for intramural sports. There's everything from Tennis Teo like Mario kart racing. So even if sports aren't your things, there's there's lots of fun things to dio with, the sports here on campus. Yeah, our facilities here are really fantastic, as you can see it, says Delaware blue hands. Over there on DH. We have all different fields. We have our football stadium, lots of different things. They're locked because it's the middle of the day, so I can't show you them. I'm here at the field hockey field and this would be filled with cheering fans all in the spirit of being a blue head.
