I am currently studying electrical engineering with a minor in chemistry and I'm just going to talk a little bit about why I chose you. D and why I have enjoyed my four years here so much. I had originally heard about you? D through my older brother when he first decided to come to you. D I kind of checked it off my list and said no I'm gonna search for someplace different being the youngest of three kids. It was always kind of professors and teachers knowing me because of my older siblings and I wanted to get away from that. So I looked at a lot of other schools and When I finally came back and visited my brother for one final time before submitting my deposit um in 2018 remember walking around campus, I send my older brother who I always imagined was the big introvert of the family. Super quiet, was constantly running into people every 10 steps, having to say hi, having a good conversation. At the time my dad and I were really annoyed with it, looking at our watches saying you know mike, we got it, we got to keep moving on here. Um but really seeing him find a place that was so at home to him where he had made all these friends and he used to tell me all the time how he couldn't wait to get home after a break and I think it's really important no matter where you end up um to find someplace that feels that comfortable to you and that makes you feel that much at home. That's really been my story through the four years. I mean going through lots of ups and downs as you do in college, but it's been an amazing experience that you need to be able to form these relationships with people. Uh community is really what we talk about all the time and it can be super cheesy but it's probably the most authentic part of U. D. Is the amazing community and the relationships that you're able to form with one another. That was one of the main reasons that I chose you D and it's really stayed true through my four years.
