Another thing that I really love about campus is our traditions and culture. We are a catholic marinus university and our marinus values are something very important to us that we value here as students in our everyday lives. These are seeing through our classes but also just through traditions and events that we have on campus. One of the big ones that we have on campus is called christmas on campus. So what you d does is they bus in about 1000 to 2001st and second grade students from the dating community and bringing them to campus for like the best christmas experience of their life. So they're all paired with like a U. T. Student that becomes their buddy for the night campus is turned into a winter wonderland. There are christmas lights everywhere, there is a big tree lighting ceremony santa comes, there's a nativity scene. Are engineering building is one of two flight simulators and the U. S. So that is something really unique to campus with our engineering building and they turn that into like santa slice so you can go through the flight simulator fly santa's sleigh. Um Me and my little buddy made like christmas cookies but it's just such a fun event to engage with the community, pretty much all you d students participated in this we get the whole day off of classes which is really nice and my roommates and I have started the tradition of watching christmas movies all morning and then going straight into christmas on campus that night. So like it's a much needed break for all the students when everyone's going a little stir crazy studying for finals and its overall just an amazing event. It is truly so much fun and a great tradition that really embraces are married, this value of community and I cannot wait to participate again this year as my third year participating as a junior.
