So I'm going to do a quick tour of my house if you don't live in a dorm or an apartment. The main advantage is rent is really cheap because we're all splitting and we have our own private paid space. So as long as you use common sense, you're good. Advantage is cheap, and it's a lot of fun if you like your roommates. I'm very fortunate because I have good roommates.
