She would always be sitting with, like, a bunch of freshmen because you always wanted to get to know everyone. I I remains I was like, Oh my gosh, it's pressure has really e again. Not taking to It was like that Thursday and then before a couple days before we had to choose who our little we're gonna be and Janet damning and was basically saying that she wanted me to be her big. I told you guys I'm taking what I want to take. Don't even think that she wanted me to be here. So what made you choose? You obey? I kind of knew I wanted to go to you a bit too. I really wanted, like Greek guy if I really wanted big football. Like, started applying out of state, and I knew I wanted to go out of state, but so we have some sad news. I'm unfortunately going to be transferring from you because everything I just thought I really wanted in school, actually experiencing it for myself has made me realize that that's not really what I want. Yeah, how did you feel during the recruitment process? I like a really shy person, too, So the recruitment process was really intimidating for me at first. So what is your favorite memory with your little Okay, this is what you're Kylie, because I see Kylie more often, but yes, like the times we've had with each other, it's like I think my way went to that. How do you manage a social life in school? I would say, like, Don't go out like everything's done Like I think that's where you could really start. I have a lot of homework, so making really that's not stopping before you guys choose to go out is how you'll be able to balance that. Also like I know I wouldn't want to stay in Coronado just different from like a lot of people like you love it for me. So you were worried about, like, financial purposes? Like, I think that the great door Yeah. Like I thought I wanted that I would like to people. Okay, so I thought I wanted, like, the big party scene just to be, like, social. So that's like I went all the time and I started to realize that those aren't really the parties I like, want to be at and like I don't know. A lot of people go to tail gates and stuff before the football games that don't actually go to the football games, which really surprised me. I thought everyone of B F F football games like in the student section like I mean, a lot of people still are a lot like many people go dok games. We're going street todo es or whatever, but it's like no, like that tailgate from like 2 to 5 to get e And like is we're Gabby, You go to the game so a lot of people just don't make it. So I just say, like, kind of reconsider what you really think that you want in a school because it it might not be what you actually want. Tried it out for myself, like the things that I thought I really wanted. A lot of people who like don't go to the Games that that was cold and I was like, No, I want to go to every game That's why I wanted to come here. So I know that I did go to every home game like Major, like my friends who like I wanted to go with me, even though there weren't that many people also wanted to go like I didn't really go to it. We want Thio like, Yeah, So you find those people too? Because there's something like this. Yes, definitely any regrets from freshman year, I think for me. Just like I wish I was loved more social like I don't know, I thought I waas, but it really wasn't like this. I kind of said this in, like, another video, but yeah, I think I I thought I put myself out there, but I really didn't. Then I just have to look at the big picture and what you really want. Like what? You see yourself in four years and like, I just couldn't really picture myself here for the next four years. If you wanna transfer or anything like it anywhere, make sure you feel like you were able to give everything a shot and then you don't know because I don't like, ever, like, want every guy like not doing certain things or anything things. I initially wanted to get my acceptance like early. Did you think? I don't think that's a but I I applied early, like, not early as they should, because I should have also for housing. Definitely living on campus One way I like you really forced people because you literally everything you do is here. You're kind of forced to meet people, so I know, and it's like you get the full college experience when you're living on camp. You're not really getting like that college experience that a lot of other getting so definitely live on campus, even if you're from The last question is, do you think going out of state for college is good even if I'm shy? Yeah, yeah, we're both shut. Eye experiences are different, but this forced me to go my comfort zone so much that if I stayed like, I don't think I would have been able to grow as much as I have. So just being able to exploring, like, meeting people from all over, it's definitely like a really cool experience. That a lot you don't really get the opportunity to d'oh.
