Thunderbird Vet Club
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
I'm buckled in this video today to promote one of these student clubs. I recently joined, which is the Thunderbird Bets Club. You're probably asking yourself why I'm wearing the super big helmet. I don't have any video editing skills to add any special effects, So I busted out one of my props to compensate for that. I won't wear the helmet the whole time because it does mess up my hair. So a little back story for me when it comes to Thunderbird. I joined the school and fall of 2019 as an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in global management. I'm considered under Bird, but I'm currently enrolled in the four plus one program. I started graduate courses this semester, and it's been an amazing experience So far. I've met people all across the globe from here in the U. S. To the UK, Nigeria, India, South Korea, China and the list goes on, there are a couple of reasons why did apply to Thunderbird. It started with my curiosity of what it's like to attend a business school. As I progressed my military life, I had the opportunity to visit other countries for various reasons, much like other vets and military members. Every time I traveled out of the U. S, I became more and more curious how business is done in other parts of the world. If they're maximizing their potential, I forgot where hurt this or who said it. You joined Thunderbird because you love business and have a big heart. I want to make a positive impact on people's lives, not Onley in my community, but across the globe. I joined the Thunderbird Vets club because I wanted to connect with like minded individuals. I also found myself hiding from the fact that I'm a veteran, but I'm not so sure why I felt that way. I'm sure others could possibly feel the same way I did, but it's really awesome to connect with others. Um, you know, vets were able to share experiences while we're all going through the grad school together. There is one team, one fight or collaborate to graduate. We have this awesome network that will last a lifetime. Our clubs not open just to vets welcome families, whether their spouses, sisters, brothers, friends pretty much anyone who would want to go along this journey with us, we'll be looking at ways to be involved in many things, including alumni outreach, networking opportunities, community involvement and whatever else anyone's passionate about and wants to do. So. Even if you don't want to join the club, you can always reach out to us and ask questions. Asked for help or assistance, we'll make ourselves available to help where we can. From my experience, if we can't answer those questions directly for you, we'll have someone in our network who can. Now for the company line, visit www dot thunderbird dot s u dot e d u to learn more.
