I'm a second year MGM student at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, which is part of Arizona State University. Um, that you could study if you come to Thunderbird. You know, whether you have a background healthcare or you want to get into analytics or, um, you know, uh, policy or you know, anything else that we have, like 16 concentrations, so many different options to steer your course of study minus global business. A lot of marketing, sales branding a lot about, like, customer decision making, things like that. It's just, you know, all the great coursework just right up the alley of the things that I wanted to learn coming to Thunderbird. Um, So I decided to come to Thunderbird because in my background I worked in Korea as a faculty manager at a English, uh, English Private Learning Academy in South Korea and soul and after having that experience. So the reason why I'm making this video today is to talk to you about the clubs at Thunder Burden and student organizations because there are tons of them. Um, so a couple of the clubs that I'm involved with our net impact, I'm the co president of Net impact. I'm on the leadership team for the campus ambassadors, and I'm, you know, have minor roles in various other clubs on campus, but those air three main ones that I have leadership positions for. Eso it's very broad. There's a lot of different, you know, segments of net impact, which, if you decide to join that impact, you can, you know, focus on, um, some of the things that I'm really interested in. We gathered a group of net impact students to go to the Japanese Friendship Garden, which is really close to campus, and we're gonna go there, help them garden, learn about all of the different traditional gardening tools that they use in the garden. Then they're going to take us on a tour at the end and tell us all about the different plants and why not? So that would be really great. If you're at all interested in sustainability, if you wanna make the world a better place, if you are a go getter and you have great ideas for projects or events or speakers, um, that impact could be great for you. The Thunder Preneurs is a great, uh, online club online club. It is online now, but it's a great club for people who are interested in entrepreneurship. Once per year, we organize a pitch competition, a Thunderbird pitch competition and the winner of the pitch competition gets cash prize money. Participating the pitch competition was a great experience. Um, also beyond the pitch competition, we have all kinds of workshops toe help. You get your business off the ground And, you know, a lot of people might be apprehensive about starting their own business while in grad school. Um and yeah, you have all these resource is so you know, why not start a business when you're in grad school? It seems like the perfect time. Um, in addition, we also have a lot of guest speakers talking about entrepreneurship are entrepreneurship department at Thunderbird is just amazing. So if you are an incoming student and you're interested in entrepreneurship or if you wanna learn about finance investing, anything startup related, uh, the entrepreneurs will be a great organization for you to join. Technically, it's a student organization because it is under the umbrella of Thunderbird itself. The campus ambassadors is a great program to be involved with if you come to Thunderbird. You have to go through the interview process, and you actually have to get, you know, hired on to be a campus ambassador. Um, six, I believe on the leadership team 76 or seven on the leadership team. We have, you know, a staff adviser who is amazing. Onda purpose of the campus ambassadors is to not only help recruit new students to Thunderbird, but also just to make the transition from becoming a prospective student into an actual student a little bit smoother, answering questions, helping students out, um, Also organizing events doing campus tours. You have, you know, extra access to faculty and staff that normal students might not have, Um you have a lot of built in leadership experience. You know, you'll have experience developing events, developing social media campaigns, uh, working in teams. Plus, you get a really cool Thunderbird polo and a pin, and there are a lot of other perks. Um, if you come to Funderburg and you definitely want to set yourself apart from the pack, becoming a campus ambassador would be a great option for you. So to sum it up, Net Impact is a great organization student club. If you're interested in sustainability, making the world a better place, the entrepreneurs is great if you're interested in startups or you want to start your own business or just want to learn more about it. If you just wanna step up your grad school experience, become mawr involved with the school and just really help you grow the school and make everyone's transition and experience a little bit better. Um, those are all the clubs that I'm involved with, and those are all the clubs that I recommend that you joined. There are tons of other ones that are great as well. So depending on your interests, you might be interested in some of these other I'm clubs and organizations.
