My name's Clark Wilcox, and I'm currently a first year student at Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, Arizona, want to talk to you a little bit today about why I chose Thunderbird. In my experience, they I chose Thunderbird, originally decided to attend Thunder Break Teoh, gain a globally minded education or an education that would give me a global gold mindset. One thing that was really important to me was to find somewhere that was interdisciplinary but also gave me value in as I sought to look for jobs in other other countries or with multinational corporations with operations based in other countries. So that was something that I found in Thunderbird that have impressive alumni network that could allow me Teoh get that Another thing was its ranking. Currently, Thunderbird is ranked the number one in matters of Gold management, which was quite attractive to me. I think additionally to it is Thunderbirds heritage and the the reputation it has for almost 75 years educating globally minded business leaders. That's something that I wanted to be a part of. His well last semester before Kobe 19 my experience waas phenomena it waas just as much sick of hope, Foreign asked for. I learned with some of my now closest friends, and it was able Teoh learn from some of the best minds in in subjects such a strategy, finance, accounting, um, communication, especially cross cultural communication, negotiation, leadership on other courses. It was an experience overall that got me really excited about the rest of my Thunderbird experience and excited to to come back into give back is an alumni and help future Thunderbirds grow and have a similar positive experience. So the the transition to remote learning Waas let me start over. Whoever's editing this, the transition to remote learning was pretty seamless. The So Thunderbird is now part of Arizona State University, and there they were, all set for for this Thunderbird already had, and a issue already had connections with Zoom to be able Teoh transition to remote learning or even just provide zoom for students to use for group meetings and things like that. Um, teachers were for the most part pretty literate in using the prop the program been using Zoom. They were able Teoh give instruction over that without any without too many hiccups. The challenge was that Now we have students had to adapt, and that's more on an individual basis. I am taking quite a few credits this semester and help me to have more time at home rather than commuting to and from school, and gave me that opportunity to hopefully be more productive and improve my grades because of that. Okay, so I am really excited for costs is to begin in the fall in person classes. I'm really excited for classes to resume in person. I think part of the Thunderbird experience and education in general is now working and collaborating and having someone there to experience it there with you. Yes, we're learning virtually and we're obtaining as much education and gleaning what we can from these experiences in class sessions. I think there's part of education is what happens in between during the class breaks and the homework session in the collaboration sessions, in person, on going to office hours and other on campus events. So I'm excited for that to be able to go on a 10 that was in person. Like I mentioned earlier Thunderbirds, my first semester of Thunderbird really gave me the chance to develop strong interpersonal relations with my classmates. I'm excited to see them again, to, of course, and go to a pub night. So it's been probably about two months now since I haven't been able to go to put night and socialize with my my fellow classmates outside of school, so I'm definitely comported out. The first thing I think I'm gonna do is probably just walk the halls of campus and and look around and see what's changed. Visit the staff that I would usually see on campus periodically or from time to time. Go say hello to them, see how they're doing and just catch up with with the students. That I have been able to see for so long transitioning Teoh online classes. So amid cove in 19 I've learned, uh, quite a few things. So I think definitely just having faith that things work out and that, um, that faith, even in spite, overwhelming odds or case worrisome situations like we've been seeing with Kobe 19 like that does not. While there is a place for fear, positive mindset and faith based faith in that things will work out can drive you to accomplish so much more. I mean is, I think, in my mind a much more effective mindset to be in Went things and challenges arise like they I've learned that for myself, as we go throughout, life will try to maintain a more positive mindset and growth based minds and view these challenges as opportunities rather than setbacks. I think looking at things differently and even slightly in a different light can really have a big impact on on how life goes and what you can accomplish. The importance of discipline and being discipline in your work. Working from home can be be challenging when you've got other family members that you live with or roommates and fighting that urge Teoh to put off. What's most important for something that might not be as important is something that I've really grown to appreciate and developing that sense to recognize. That is something that I've really developed a mid cove in 19. I think that's all the questions I'm gonna answer.
