So now we can go ahead and talk about the first year experience here. Oh, my gosh, guys, you feel so loved and I don't know, it's so cared for here a TCU. All the people who go to T. C you are super kind and caring. I, just feel known from the moment you step on campus. I, I want to talk about three different events that you get Teo. No students and other students get to know you right from the start of school and even before school. Camp fraud camp was definitely one of the highlights of my summer this past year. Um, and when you're going on fraud camp, you are but in small groups of like, uh, probably like seven freshman, and then you're paired up with two mentors. You currently go to TCO and then one faculty, you mentor. Throughout the fraud camp experience, you get Teo do fun games. Then he also get Teo, be in small groups and have smaller conversation where you get to know the students and they get to know you. I made some of my closest friends during fraud camp. Um, I got TIO no, what it was gonna be like to come to teach us well, that love me and cares about me. Um, and I also got to be plugged into community right away, which is something that is so crucial for a freshman going any college. I even got lunch with my frog camp people like last weekend. So you didn't even touch their fraud camp friends. When you see each other on campus, it is so sweet. So orientation you're put in groups of probably like twenty people, and you get to pick out your classes. Even more than that, you get to know another group of students. So this allows you to feel known once TCU is so keen on making sure that you have a group of people to go Teo and mentors to go Teo for your first semester here at college because it can be hard. So that's another group where you pick out classes, but you also get to know each other, and you could make some awesome friendships do that as well. I run into one of my mentors, like all the time on campus. It was like every Tuesday I get see him, we catch up for a little bit on DH. He's just amazing. Then the third one that I want to touch on his rock disperse. So this is when you get campus like the first week of freshman year. You get to go to a professor's house for dinner because these professors want tohave you at their home. They want to teach you what it's like to be a T C. Student. You also get to go over the books together, and you get to just talk about life and what it's like being a freshman. So that's another group of people, and those people are actually the people that you live with So the people on the same floor, um, has you and T C E o. So you can see that TCU really tries to put you in groups right away. When you get into college and they care for you, I cannot stress enough how loving and kind and compassionate people are here.
