The 'pros' of attending a large university like SU
Before I came to Syracuse, I was worried about finding my place within such a large undergraduate population. The twenty-two thousand students are split into many "home colleges": The School of Architecture, The College of Arts and Sciences, The School of Education, The College of Engineering and Computer Science, The David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics, The School of Information Studies, The Martin J. Whitman School of Management, The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, and The College of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA). It's much either to find your place within a smaller 'school', without loosing the large university experience. You can take classes outside of your home college, or maybe even take up a minor or two :P
