Um I'm from farmington Connecticut and I'm involved in student ambassadors here on campus student government. Um I'm part of Saul and I'm on the women's soccer team. So Salt is the student leadership team here on campus or student athlete leadership team here on campus and basically like it's just a bunch of athletes coming together um and leaders in athletics to come together and try and like bring service to the community and just like help out and make it a better place. So I chose Springfield because it is a really welcoming campus and when I came here for my first tour, um I was like kind of hesitant about it, but then when I came again from my second tour, it completely felt like home. I had been thinking about it on every other tour that I had gone on and I just knew that this place was home. My favorite part about this campus is the people, I love everyone here. Uh They always know how to brighten my day and make me smile. Um There's like a couple benches out there to just sit and look over into the river and it's like the prettiest spot on campus when the leaves change in the fall, it's gorgeous and it's just like a little serenity. Some of the advice that I would give to a high school student is just keep your options open and keep your mind open um and just look for a place that you can completely be yourself in and has a lot of opportunities for you to grow and become a better person.
