Hi, my name is Brenda Aho and I have just completed santa Clara University's Executive M. B. A. Program. I started the program in august of 2019 and I completed it in March of 2021. What led me to apply to the executive M. B. A. Program is the fact that I had been in mid level management positions for about 10 years across different companies and different industries and I have worked really closely with different C. Level executives. I've become a subject matter expert on a couple of very mission critical positions. I had led several projects that have helped companies move to that next level and break through barriers in the market. Um Yet I could not figure out why executive level roles were not presented to me and why I could not break through that barrier that there seemed to be in front of me and invisible barriers what it looked like. Um And so I decided to go on a personal journey to invest in myself and figure out what it was that I was lacking, what it was that I needed to do, to prepare myself for an executive level position. Um, I decided to research different schools and I came across santa Clara University. I looked into their faculty, the different programs that they offered the alumni that they had and I was so impressed, just extremely impressed with the caliber of the faculty and the long list of alumni across various industries. I saw C E O S T V producers governors deans, you know, sports champions, uh musicians, tv producers, journalists, you know, you name it from every field that partnered with santa Clara University to reach their dreams. And so I decided to put my dreams and my future in santa clara's hands and I partnered with them to help me make it to the next level in the next step in my career. Um, I am very proud to say that immediately after I graduated, um I was promoted to a director level role and I have just started this journey now into my executive leadership. And so I'm very, very grateful, um, and very proud to be a bronco.
