I invited my friend who played soccer spc for two years to share a little bit of his experience with you guys. I'm 21 years old and I'm a Santa Barbara City College alumni. I went to Santa Barbara City College for two years and played on the men's soccer team for both and it was a credible experience. Made lifelong friends got to compete in the sport that I love and had a lot of help from the school and the faculty along the way. Three things that I loved about playing sports at Santa Barbara City College was the competition, the facilities and the friends that made along the way, santa Barbara City College has amazing sports programs, from the football team to the soccer team, to the women's water polo team. They're all great and it's a great community of athletes there. Everyone's competitive and wants to win for the school. Another thing I love is the facilities facilities at santa Barbara City College are great. You have a beautiful field that you get to practice on every day right across from one of the prettiest beaches I've ever been to. Another good thing about the facilities is you have amazing, very well trained athletic trainers that, that you can utilize at any time if you have a slight injury, if you just need a stretch before a game, anything, you go to them and they'll help you shout out joe. The third thing and probably the most important, the best thing about playing sports at santa Barbara City College is the friends that you make on the team and in the athletic community in general, you'll never make better friends than the people you get to train with every day. You get to learn their life everything about them and you have a great time getting to train and compete with them day in day out. Most athletes also live with people on their team so you can get even closer and it's really amazing. During my two years, I made lifelong friends that I will never forget just for playing on the same team as them. Oh, if you're thinking about playing sports at santa Barbara City College, I would highly suggest it. It's amazing experience and it will truly make all the difference in your college here.
