Hi everybody, my name is Emily and I'm a senior nursing major here at ST Ambrose University. I'm originally from Chicago and I moved here for school in august 2018 and I'll be graduating next May in 2022 which is so exciting. So along with nursing as my major, I'm also double minor ring in biology and psychology and I think that's one of the great things about Ambrose is that you have awesome academic advisors, professors, faculty and staff members that help you find things that you're passionate about and then support you in your journey with your education in those subjects. I love going to school here at Ambrose because there's a lot that the community has to offer on and off campus on campus for a little bit of a smaller school, but it's great because you get to know so many people and you're able to be involved in a variety of things. So I am involved in nurses, christian fellowship, psychology club. I was a member of our university choir for my first two years here and I also work in the admissions department and saying with our music ministry as well as do a lot of other volunteering with campus ministry. So it's just really cool that you're able to be involved in a lot of different things whether they're related to your major or not and it's super easy to meet people and then we are located in Davenport Iowa, which is one of the quad cities, so there's a lot of great things to do here in Davenport off campus and even exploring Rock Island Moline and Bettendorf, which are the other three of the quad cities. So it's been really cool in the past four years, getting to learn the area and seeing all the great things that Davenport has to offer.
