So what do you think of the student body here at Rice? I was at the student body is very diverse and accepting. I like No, that's what they want me to say. Like a large number of groups that writes, like in friends of the theatre. People are friends in the camp, engineers in front of people, my college. They just like I'll bring something different table in something different to like. I enjoy having, like, of wide variety conversations with my friends, whether that be talking about the New York Times crossword puzzle or like debating, like discussing religion, are also just talked about the latest music video. I know that I could talk about, like, any and all of that with my friends. Most of the time, they're game for basically, whatever. Okay, So tell us a little bit more about your major. Maybe, like, what kind of is the atmosphere around? So I'm a mechanical engineering major on DH. So a lot of what we Yeah, that being said, I send a lot of my time centering on engineer design. So I spent a lot of time in the ocean engineering nine kitchen working on, like, other projects, getting hands on experience. I am a lab assistant in Theo Deck, and that I help other students build things and swells, learns all the machines myself, So I like it. I personally built a museum exhibit for children museum. I built a casting Sanford you lean on when they're getting prosthetic legs. I've helped other students with things like the laser cutter with three D printers, the woodshop, etcetera. So I spent a lot of time, like building, getting that hands on experience that can help me in the future where it's like, Oh, yeah, I know how design that they do know how to use this tool and build my own prototypes. I would say that's an impressive You're just just gonna put that out there. Uh, I would say that the mechanical engineering department, especially you. Like my class is, like very accepting an open toe helping each other. Okay, A lot of nights we've got, It's a very tough problems. It's a lot of times we end up in a random college comments, and there's a bunch of us working together you're like, Okay like, let's work through Thermo together. Let's help each other out with it, which, like I really appreciate it. It feels like a very healthy and accepting and collaborative environment as us looking at No. One and then a final question. What's your favorite part of rice and your least favorite part of rice? I like the wide variety of experiences that were Isis given me, which, like again, I know that's what they want you to say. You know, like I've gotten the light, got nowhere with the client and deliver a prototype and have it on display in the Children's Museum. Yeah, I've gotten There's an upside down room outside of the field of this camera like that, Really good friends with the person who made it. Last night, we ended up watching Henry the fifth and then like Jamie after Taylor Swift afterwards. So just like I like that, the people there have been an unconventional willing to do whatever, whether that you like something serious and really cool or something, just like, kind of running out there.
