I learned a lot, and my perspective about college changed a lot from my first day of college to the last day of my freshman year. If you are a boilermaker or are going to be one soon, and he would like a video focused solely on Purdue lie packs, please do give me a comment down below and let me know because I would definitely be interested in filming a video like that in the future. For starters, I would recommend, no matter where in go to school to take part in their freshman orientation program or if you're going to transfer to another college, I would recommend going through it as well. I would totally recommend going being involved that first week and putting yourself out there like I am going to a school where there's not a lot of kids from my high school. For those who live in the area and you know they have a lot of friends already going there, they tend not to reach out to people to branch out, and I think that robs him of a lot of opportunities. There were people bonded, and that's where I met a lot of my friends. That's the only time throughout college, you will not have to worry about classic classes, and you could focus on your social life. Usually no matter what school you're going to, I would definitely recommend getting on those pages. So when you're making, when you know when you're joining these Facebook groups, you may as well just download the APP group me on your phone because that's the way everybody is going to be communicating. So as soon as I joined my Purdue Facebook page, I found links to talk to people in my major people who have just been accepted Thio, Purdue and girls who we're gonna be going through sorority recruitment like that was the way for everybody to talk before going to college. I met some of my best friends at college through those. Please do it so freakin fund and comforting to know that like you're not alone and it gives you some people to look forward to seeing on campus. So you're not completely going not knowing anybody. At least you'll know some names you may have spoken to people in the group chats, and that gives you a great little boost into your college social life. So I know there's girls who put thes they're key on hair ties, and I don't even know how to do that. I think every college bed for the most part, has these awkward, like black bars that keep you from falling off, which is a great thing, but it doesn't look very cute. So if you care about that like I d'oh, this is full of pockets I got from Pottery Barn, a teen as a gift, and at night, you know, when I was finished scrolling through my phone unhelpfully unhelpfully when I was finished scrolling through my phone. I clicker, if you are not in college at U maybe like, what the heck is this day? Um, you're gonna be using it. Speaking of attendance points, I will just let you know that they can definitely save you in the end of the semester. For me, I take a lot of classes that are not so easy and require a whole lot of work. I know some people who either don't go to class all the time, which not only robs you of some attendance points but also could cause you to get lost in the material which the material is hard enough as it is if you're going to elections. Please just go to class if you can, you know, it's a good idea. Basically, for people like me, exams are very hard, and I tend to do not so hot on them. Extra credit especially, you know, Don't if you're taking an easy class. People tend to get lazy in those classes because they assume that they'll, you know getting a high grade will be easy. It's not going to be easy if you're not going to class and doing the extra credit. There's a lot of other people and get like these material, like I don't know how to describe it like bags almost for the shower, or even like a little been, but I don't think that's big enough for me, and I just love how I could organize all of my things in this like you've got the soap down here and then two compartments for all of your other stuff. Um, I went to college with, like, I think it was a trans backpack. I found it to get like, you know, when you're in college, you're bringing your backpack pretty much. No matter where you go, you're just you're carrying it around a lot. Um, I know a lot of college girls actually have north face backpacks and the guys do as well There are. In high school, Vera Bradley backpacks were like everywhere, and I noticed in college now that it's mainly north face backpacks because they are huge, they're good quality and yeah, I mean, that's all you need. Now, you may have noticed that lots of people put stickers on their stuff. Um, if you're wondering where these stickers come from, for the most part, I know that kids go on kids. Um, people go on red bubble dot com and they have, ah, whole assortment of stickers for you to find, like Lizzie McGuire in a Purdue top. Then hydro flasks are pretty well known on college campuses. They're high quality, and people put stickers all over them. So I thought that was a great way for me to learn rather than just taking notes in a lecture, you know? So if you need to learn in a more interactive comfortable setting, I'd recommend attending Esai sessions and or office hours. If you're where you're going to school has some warmer months outside.
