Hey, guys, my name's camera and I'm a student at a home about this university. Today I'm showing you the oval of O B. U on the Oval consists of all the buildings that we hold our classes in. If you want to spend the camera around and show them that's one of our dorms and then besides it out, we have all the buildings over there. Where have all of our classes waving Our biggest building, which is Shawnee Hall. I'm Shawne Hole is our oldest building on campus. So lots of different classrooms faces, um, some things that you might take in. There are history courses, literature courses, early childhood education courses, um, foreign language math. Pretty much anything you can think of during your four years on campus you will be and not building at least once. It's our biggest one, and the one that professor seem to utilize that, uh, our professor student ratio is one to sixteen, so you are going to get that one on one Attention, which you're definitely not gonna get another universities that are bigger. Um, something that I really love is that our professor is really, truly care about us not just academically, but emotionally and spiritually as well. I'm just definitely, ray surest that our identity is not in our grades but in Christ, because the academics here are very hard and they're very challenging, but they're definitely worth it in the hell d'You name is very well known. Another thing that we do on this campus that you see a lot, you'll see people hammock ing or laying out a picnic, blankets tohave pick nits or do their homework with their friends. That's something that's really fun, especially on a spring day when it's not crazy, Wendy. Welcoming is designed for freshmen to basically transition from home. Toby, you because we recognize that it's a really tricky time. I'm to leave your parents and leave everything that you're used to to come to a completely different place. I lived in Kansas and I didn't know anybody coming here. So it's really important that I found that community when I first came here. Um, the way that we do welcome week is we split all the freshmen and transfer students into four different groups when they come here and all the different four groups represent four different colors. We had this really silly chant we called we call Career and Crypt is just a chance for all of us to come together and chant something that doesn't make any sense. Like a lot of different big universities, they have chance or songs that is are basically anthem and song that we sing at different football games and basketball games. Sometimes he will even call you out on crypt in school on DH. So it's really fun chance to just do things. I'm gonna do crypt for you because I feel like you guys need it. Sarah, will you call me out on it? Can go a grip. Haven't given the carbon black Kingsley Kula Call it victory. So you see that and you see a lot of different things on campus. Um, on that week, you learn crypt, you breathe crib, and you do crypt about a million times. At the end of the week in the oval, you compete against the three other groups and the best one who does the best gets bragging words for the rest of their four years. You basically deck yourself out of different colors. On this year, we had a purple team Red team, a green team in a black team and they all deck themselves out. No super fun there, chancing to leaders, are being thrown in the air. It's a huge community activity that people love. We also have this thing called the Walk during Welcome Week. It symbolizes your journey over you and starting and finishing. So you do it your freshman year, and then you do it the day that you graduate on them, basically start in the oval and then you just walk around campus and you have a little Beanie on. You should definitely go check that out on all of our social media. It's actually really fun and cute to have that, Um And then whenever you graduate, you'LL walk one more time with your cap and gown. I'm kind of symbolizing that you finished finally. I mean, it's just a really cool opportunity to walk with your friends for the last time and just kind of see campus for the last time. If you guys have any other questions, definitely give us a call at four zero, five five, five five thousand or definitely just coming visit.
