In-Depth Dorm Tour!
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
This clip is actually from move in day, and the Ohio State University has the best moving process in all of the United States. Other colleges actually come to observe how we go about things. Yeah, although our moving process may be long, it goes very smoothly, thanks to our wonderful welcome leaders. So first coming and to Baker, you have to swipe your book I d. For security reasons. So this is the front door, and right next to it, I think, is a dorm room essential which are command hugs. That's because you can't really like, poke holes into well, so if you can see, I have all my decorations on command hooks and those pictures are just taped. So there aren't any holes in the walls on DH right next to my front door, for the only door really is a closet, and it's actually pretty spacious, and I have my shower caddy down there, my shower shoes and slippers. I hear something winter and our shoes get really well because of the snow I had put down like cardboard. Like where you want your bed If you want it, you can have it, like lower on the ground and I have it right in the middle. So you can obviously slick store more on the bottom. I didn't really want a lunkhead. And, um here. Um, I just have all my other essentials top or just some pictures and someone succulents and these actually called my boyfriend. If you come to us, you there's this thing called, like the Columbus coffee adventure here for this is like like a trail. You follow and each place you go, you're going to stand at the end. If you visit each place, you get like a free T shirt. I'm not going to open the George, but I also labeled them. Back in this tiny corner, I have my microwave and the freezer refrigerator. Don't forget dish soap and dishes and cups on DH utensil. The snow is melting, but and like later during the day, it actually gets really pretty, cause this guy gets really, really blue. I usually go to the library, but yeah, I have makeup over their skincare. Um yeah, I don't really have much in my room, but it's very cozy in the dorm that I am. For communal bathrooms in Baker Hall East, you need a key. Actually, this paper tall machine is broken, but yeah, it's fine. Our bathroom gets cleaned, I think three times a week and it looks small, but really only like four or five girls use this bathroom and I haven't had any trouble, but yeah, this's what a bathroom looks like. This storm actually doesn't take quarters for laundry. So you have to put money in your buck I d and swipe. Sorry that this clip doesn't really make sense. I was a little shy, but this is the downstairs rec room. I found some clips from my freshman year dorm, and this is actually a more typical living arrangement for first years. I lived with three other girls, so I was in a moral tower quad. And as you can see, we had a desk space for all four girls and then entering and we have to bunk beds. So four beds each and this was actually while I was moving out and my other roommates were gone. Yeah, on DH then if you go through this next door, you see this like corridor with other rooms in it. Then we had a bathroom that we all shared and a final common space that led to the hallway.
