The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
I just wanted to take a moment to talk to you about subjects I've pursued, studying and what it's been like the academic experience during the Cove it pandemic. Use the zoom application to meet for classes and then the Northwest Indian College uses in application called Canvas, which is like an online classroom. All of our correspondents with our instructors happen on canvas, where we are assigned homework, and it's where we submit our assignments when they're completed. Our reading is often found on there and discussions, which are kind of cool, that we can have these discussion boards within our classes to talk about the course material or subject matter that comes up on our weekly modules. It was hard for me at first because I don't think of myself as a very technologically advanced individual, but and we've done a lot to make it possible. They helped supply me with a laptop so that I could access. These resource is online to do my school work from home. I don't have any classes with over 10 students in them. So we get a lot of one on one time with our instructors. I particularly adore my science instructor John Rumbled. I've taken chemistry with John, taken biology with him, a swell, and I'm currently taking biostatistics, the great instructor really helpful and understanding the material. He's great at making a two hour lecture, a lot of fun, and it's so informative. It's been great to get to work with such a neat teacher. I would say, If you're hesitant to take any classes online, just be prepared to be self motivated. When you're out of class and thats scheduled time is over, you still have to apply yourself. Going to school online during the pandemic is really not so bad and actually has a lot of silver linings.
