Programs: Marketing
The NDSU marketing program provides broad marketing competencies while allowing students to gain skills in specific areas like digital marketing, professional selling, international marketing and others.
The curriculum blends general education and fundamental business knowledge with in-depth marketing courses. Realistic business simulations will give you hands-on experience dealing with real-world issues. NDSU marketing students also can choose minors or certificates in entrepreneurship and professional selling, a certificate in organizational leadership or the supply chain management track.
“I chose marketing as my major because I knew that it would take me out of my comfort zone, and I knew that was exactly what I needed to do during my time at NDSU,” said Madison Meier, who is from Mott, North Dakota. “Marketing has become a passion of mine and that only happened because I decided to make what I thought at the time was a scary decision. But, it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life.”
According to Meier, NDSU’s marketing program will challenge your creativity as it concentrates on real-world business challenges. Whether you want to be an advertising manager, content strategist, copywriter or marketing specialist, the program will build your business and interpersonal skills.
