Hey, everyone. It's Jess here to talk about the next part of the enrollment process and the next step in North Country Navigator. Now that you've registered for classes, one more thing is off the checklist. You can now focus on getting ready for your first day of class. In this video, we're going to talk about the student orientation, and then we'll also talk about additional support services available to you as a student.no matter what campus you're on. Student orientation. This is probably the most exciting and most fun step that we're going to talk about. Our student orientation is 100% online, so you can do it from anywhere on any device. That's pretty cool. To access all things in North Country Community College orientation head to nccc.edu/orientation. Once you reach that orientation page, you will find a link that will lead you to that virtual orientation through Blackboard Connect. There are a ton of different modules and links and videos where you can get to know all about North Country's departments. You're going to learn more about the business office, financial aid office, I T support services, the registrar's office. On top of that, you'll learn about additional resources here for you. We're talking about the campus bookstore, campus safety counseling, Student Life, Campus Life, Residence Life and the Learning Assistance Center, which we call the LAC. And you will even find our continued commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion. You name it,it is in our virtual orientation. We've talked a lot about your enrollment counselor and everything that they can do for you. And we've also talked about your academic advisor being there for your academic success. North Country Community College has a slew of additional support services, and that's because supporting students is North Country's top priority. Please take advantage of them. You'll find more information about career and transfer services, counseling partnerships, our student code of conduct, cessation services, crisis support, tobacco treatment and emergency funding for students with unmet basic needs. We have a support service for that. Check it out. It is an important part of the enrollment process. There are a lot of them, but they're there for you. That was a lot of information. Just know that you should check out our student virtual orientation. Get to know the college a bit more. Then check out the additional student support services available to you.
