If you didn't know, I dont state I would say that the main difference between high school and college other than the fact that, like you're living on your own and you're really responsible for yourself and like you have to have that self discipline to study and like wake up in the morning and get food and just like do your laundry, you're responsible for everything you do. I know a bad grade on a test wouldn't necessarily affect you that much in high school, but here it's like each test can be 20% of your grade or more or less. So if you didn't know, I am still currently dating my boyfriend that I started dating in the ninth grade. I just didn't know that fashion textile management, like my major, was a major until it's about a junior in high school. So if you're interested in textiles, let me know and I will help you get set up with that and give you some more information than I have. Career wise, I don't really know what I want to do. Or, you know, the ultimate goal would be to just do the blogging and YouTube and sponsorships and saying things like that. I don't know if that will ever happen for me, so I'm still not sure, but I am confident in my major choice The next question is, was it hard to find roommates and tomorrow, actually planning on putting up the block post all about how I found my roommate and how that's working out and everything. So either you can do that, or, if you already know someone, you can pick that you want to room with them, or you can always do random assignment. Next question is, how do you know which school is right for you? And how do you know if you want to do, like private or public school or like a smaller school or a bigger school. If you don't know, I would just go off of a place that has a bunch of things that they're good at. So that's why I chose in C Stay also, if I do decide to change, I know I won't leave schools. So I have all that information in the block post Aisling below, and the next question is, how has it been adjusting to college life being away from home? So I don't know how I really felt about this. I'm just not that outgoing with new people, and I'm sort of awkward in the beginning, so I haven't met a time when people just like, slightly uncomfortable in class whenever I don't know anybody. So it's kind of hard not really knowing anybody, and I definitely don't like getting up and just like rolling out of bed, going to class, had to discipline myself to actually get up and get ready, because I do not feel confident all whenever I'm just walking around and basically what I slip in. Just have had trouble meeting people that's about that's it was already, like, formed their friendships, You know what I mean? So I'm just, like, not in like a friend group, Really. Tess turn always my favorite, so that's definitely the hardest I know a lot of people would say being in such big classrooms, But all of your teachers have office hours, and I definitely recommend that you go to those if you need any help, there's also TA is that have office hours that do an amazing job, and I talk about all of that in my study tips. Nobody is really, like, eager to say fighters, you know? So in the way of I don't want to annoy people, it is easier on the tripod. She will definitely know of some scholarships that you can apply for. So I know NC State had a bunch that you could apply for the two forms of scholarships that I recommend the most. I know some of those air just like a lottery system, and I personally didn't really like those pecan that, just like there are endless wants to apply for, because I just felt like it's like the lottery system. I know N. C. State personally has a full long list of all these different clubs that they have. I know my boyfriend is in the basket at Club, so they let go out, do fishing tournaments and things like that. I know there's like a ton of things that you could be involved in on your campus, so just try to go your Kemp's website. I know like any job on campus will assist you with scheduling problems, and most of them do you offer benefits. So I know like if you work in the bookstore, you get like a discount. If you're in R A, you get free housing, which is amazing if you don't know what an R A is. So if you all somewhere in Raleigh that I need to go, you all should let me know, because I don't have you tips three all. As for taking photos I've really just sent around campus, I don't really know any cool places for that either. I guess I really don't get out much, but if you have anywhere that I need to visit, let me know because I I do need to get out more. So the next question is, do you participate in Greek life and do you have any tips about that? So if you have been following me for a while, then you know that I did go through sortie recruitment, but I dropped during the process and decided not to join the sorority that I would have been placed with because I felt like it wasn't the right sorority for me. I know since I went to the summer textile exploration program, I had a lot to say about my major and why I wanted that major. I just know that being involved on campus at your high school is impressive to colleges. Because I know I feel like I know, like to bloggers that go here like me and like one other girl, So I know that that sticks out. My tip for getting along with your roommate is to not be petty, so just don't worry about, like, little stupid things that there and question like, Is it really that important? Is it really worth getting unify over isn't gonna matter in a few days. I know it's not the best situation, but hopefully I will learn and do better. I don't know if that means all the progress that I've made will be gone or not. I just know that I don't really want to have to do without.
