Lombardo Welcome Center
The beautiful metal and glass building, which is the first of its kind on campus. Located at 88 James St., prospective students and their families now begin their campus tours in the Center’s bamboo-paneled presentation room, known as the Dr. John M. Anderson Center for Environmental Sustainability. The Lombardo Welcome Center is currently home to Underdgraduate, Online and Graduate Admissions, Office of Sustainability and the University Housing and Conference Services department. The Lombardo Welcome Center is the first building in Pennsylvania to be certified as a zero energy building by the International Living Future Institute and only 1 of about 100 zero energy buildings in the country. The unique building produces its own energy onsite through renewable energy sources and stands as a clear testament of Millersville’s commitment to sustainability and to our goal of pursuing carbon neutrality by 2040.
