Theatre Arts (Acting) | McDaniel College: Senior Capstone
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
My name is Naji Banks, and my senior capstone is performing in hair. Thio work in a show that was supposed to be in the late sixties and on the verge of, you know, the seventies, being in that era and trying to fit the embodiment of that staying conscious of that era. Not really thinking about the eighties and nineties, and there'll be thousands of where we are now. Travel would sort of think of myself in the seventies without knowing the future, and that was sort of a weird thing. It was pretty interesting that try to see how far I can push myself into getting into character. That was kind of far outside of myself, to be able to put on a good performance with singing, even though I graduated high school, not knowing that I could sing dancing, even though it kind of graduated high school, not really knowing that I could dance, but I had rhythm and acting, which I had never done before, but I had written a play before in middle school, and that was like the gist of it. I've made a lot of friends and family from attending my Franklin Square Boys and Girls Club. Oh, my gosh, She cared about all of those kids and no, she wanted to do was spread a great message after graduation. Then I hope to eventually open up an after school program and after school arts programs. I guess seeing something that special for like, a lot of kids happened. I kind of want to give that toe like a community somewhere, if not a lot of communities. The overall effect is that sort of just give people a place to after school express themselves.
