It's definitely a change of pace than what a lot of people would expect a college experience to be like. You can't really pull all nighters, and you can't really stay until three AM like having fun with your friends. You have to get up the next morning to go to PT, which is our physical training. It's a really cool experience because I get to learn a lot about leadership and a lot about working with other people in a way that I don't think a lot of students get to. Did that interest in ROTC kind of affect your college application process it all it did a little bit. I lean towards schools that have ROTC programs, and a lot of them do. One of the reasons I chose loyals was actually a really good one. Our leadership puts a lot of effort into helping us and making sure that we're not only developed as leaders but developed as students and athletes. So they make sure to stress, you know, are academics but also our physical, the physical standards, but also our ability to work with within our team. That's something that all battalions focus on.
