The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
So my first class of the day is site singing and that is class. We're basically you sing, you learn tio sight, read music and expressed orally whether or not you're vocalists. Here in the conservatory, all freshmen and sophomores have to learn how to sing out of sight music and saying, and also how to sight read rhythms as well. So Lawrence University uses a trimester system where each term students are allowed to take three classes. Um, that may not sound like a lot, but the workload is a decent amount where students are usually required an hour to two hours of studying everyday per class. If you are in the conservatory there are actually extra classes that you do need to take that it required by the conservatory in order to get your bachelor music. So if you're looking to become a conservatory student here at Lawrence, another thing you do need to keep in mind is spect ISS. Because you do need to audition with a primary instrument or voice in order to be accepted into the conservatory. Here is what a practice room typically looks like there is a piano. Practicing usually is required to be around at three hours a day, but it does very based off of what major you are because there is the performance major that would require much more practicing. There are the other majors, such as composition or music theory.
