Hi. I'm an XLII. I'm a junior here at Houghton. I'm a sophomore here at Hogan, and I'm a biology major on the prevent track. I hope I was looking at a bunch of colleges and I visited Houghton, and it was actually really funny. We drove up and we were like, There's nothing here. Um, but we got on campus and it was like a different world. Like it's its own little world with everyone doing all these fun, different things. Um, and the community, which you'll hear a lot. It's a buzzword around here, but it's just the best. Um, you know, like, you get accepted right away, and it's just such a great time. Um, one when we first got here, it was like immediately everybody was so welcoming, so nice. I didn't get that at a lot of the other colleges that I had visited, especially the bigger ones. So I actually really like the small size because everybody knows everybody, and it's just a great environment. I Also Houghton is one of the only Christian colleges within equestrian program. That is something that I really wanted to be able to combine in my college experience, horses and a Christian environment. People came to Houghton because I wanted to have the opportunity to study multiple disciplines. I think my favorite thing is just like the camaraderie. Um, you know, like you'll see people doing absolutely ridiculous things, um, and something people most people will join in, You know, it's just like it's a place without a lot of judgment and with a lot of fun. Um, I love our facilities in the Pain Science Center. I spent a lot of time there as a biology major, Um, and there's a lot of cool opportunities. There's some great study ribs and the people who work there. All the science professors and all the professors are really just amazing, and they want to know their students. I really value the professors that take time to help you find your calling. Even though I am involved in multiple academic programs, I still really enjoy taking the time to socialize and make new friends. Go ahead. One of my favorite memories is racing my professor on a razor scooters. It was still a lot of fun, Uh..
