A Day in the Life

Uh, so for today's video, I thought I would take you on what a typical Friday looks like for me. The reason I wake up that early is because I'm going to work and I work in the Center for the Arts building. I basically just sanitized all the rails and I sweep them off. I clock out and then I headed to breakfast with my roommates, Hannah and Faith. Then after that, I go to my first class in the paint building, which is my stem class, which I really don't like. You know, you kinda gotta do what you gotta do. Then after that, I headed to work again to the Center for the Arts building. I don't have enough time in the morning before my class. So I go after my class to do the other side of stairs, like listening to something or music. After I clocked out, actually decided to go check out the Portrait gallery because I knew a lot of my friends had actually submitted a lot of work to it because this is a student exhibition and I know quite a few people who submitted things, and I wanted to check out their stuff and honestly, it was really cool. It's just really cool to see how talented my friends are. I decided to work on the events that we have on Saturday, and I was listening to Chapel while I was cutting out our title for the Americas because our event was around the world in the night and it was just a way to have people introduced to the cultures on campus. Then I went to lunch with my friend Chelsea, and then I went to do homework for the rest of the afternoon because on Fridays I actually only had the one class in the morning, so I decided to do my homework. On the afternoon I had my new media society midterm exam due on Friday as well. Well, I still haven't gotten my grade bag, so we'll see about that. Uh, we met to finalize a lot of the decorations for the event that I just talked about. Then I went to get ready for our volleyball practice, which is yellow and blue volleyball practice because of Down Syndrome awareness. Jim caught a nice sunset, or I guess it's starting to set. Then after practice, uh, I mean, you always feel good after practice. I decided to eat ramen because the dining hall was closed. So then this is cooking for the event that I was talking about around the world in the night. Then I went to go play grog, which is a nighttime game where we shut off all the lights in this building. Yeah, So I came in, we had games and people lost some people. Uh, but we were just cooking again for the around the world event and we have been, could be very, very long time. As you can see, the crowd starts a thin as it becomes like, 12 PM, and we're just waiting for all of the Patriots to cook. It was honestly fun just being able to hang out with my friends, even though it's really tiring. It eventually got done, and we got a lot of things done ready for the event tomorrow.
