Disney College Program & Hofstra University

So the Coast experience that I got to participate in while I was at Hofstra was the Disney College program. What that is is an opportunity for college students from literally around the world to go work in Disney World or Disney Land. I got torque in Disney World, and it's a very highly competitive process. On my third try, I worked with the director of off campus education here at Hofstra and did an independent study in photography while I was in Disney World. Some of what resulted from that and in addition to that, I got taken online math class. So the main benefit of the Disney College program is that you get to live in Desert World. It's really surreal experience of being able to access Disney parks and resorts all of the time and don't get me wrong. We definitely did Carter the parks all the time, my friends and I. But on the other hand, it was a surprisingly normal college experience of being in Orlando and going to bars with friends and things like that. Overall, the Disney College program was a really unique, interesting experience and something that I'm probably never going to stop talking about. So I'm definitely grateful for Half Shirt for allowing me this opportunity to study outside of the classroom and continue my education while working in Disney World.
