final advice

So this last video, we're just going to be a like, final piece of advice for prospective students. Then one thing that I would tell my high school itself. So my advice to prospective students is that teenagers like trying new things. I know, like everyone says that, but it's really important to just put yourself out there and find out the things like your niche of the things that you enjoy. Because college is definitely like a place that you find her independence and you're not just doing things because your friends are doing it. You're finding out your true passions and the things that you enjoy most. Another thing that I would say is specifically at high point is to go to the rush process, obviously, like if you're one hundred percent like not into Greek like you don't have to do that. If you're like, kind of on the edge of deciding, like if you want to or you don't want to, I would definitely say Just go for it. I know tons of girls and even guys who went through the rush process of going through social sororities and fraternities who still met some really great people even though they didn't end up joining a sorority or fraternity, which is, I think, just like a really great opportunity. Even the people you just like understand the dynamics of the school better since high points, like really based on Greek life socially, which was super amazing. I found some really good friends through my little group that I went through, was through Rush and still talk to them to the stay, even though and a freshman year and we had first semester. I think it's really great when you're around campus and you can like spot people that you know my plans like a medium size school. So it's like those few people who, like you, know their face and like they know your face and you could just, like, say, hi them cuts, no big deal. Another thing that I wish I did more was reach out to people on social media. Like I said in my previous video, like you have that like hashtag on instagram like HP, you, whatever it is slowed over school you're choosing, but specifically, high point was like HP twenty two and everyone was posting. I wish that I like direct, messaged more people and just, like, introduce myself and I feel like it's never like we're thing to do that because it's like everyone's trying to find, like new people and new friends taking out with just to, like have that foundation of, like, feeling comfortable and like knowing people at school. So I think it's really interesting, and I kind, I wish I did that more because there are those people where it's like, Oh, I know you on Instagram because like I followed you because I saw you in a twenty three, but like how I wish I reached out. That's my advice to prospective students and then two things I would tell my high school self is that if it won't matter in a year from now, like don't stress over it, I know that there's like those little tests where or quiz is that you don't do that good on, and you're like freaking out about because you think it's going to affect your GPS so much. In the end, like it doesn't matter that much. Yes, you should study your butt off because if college is the track that you're going towards, like sometimes those little test to matter. You shouldn't be stressing yourself out about every single one because it's so tiring, just like on yourself. Then also didn't Dolan anyone to find who you are because on ly you know deep town who that is.
