Hi everyone, I have the very beautiful Paula with me right here. She is our exchange student from I.S.E.P.ISEP and we're gonna ask her a bunch of questions to see how our experience has been as an exchange student. Hi Paula! Hi, I'm Paula, I am from Span, the south of Spain and this is my third year of university and I'm here with the ISEP Scholarship. I have been here for four months, four months by now and I'm loving it. I'm majoring in art history right now and I'm planning to to minor in ancient art culture. [Hampshire] let me study a lot of stuff that I wasn't able to do in my home university because I used to have a really strict curriculum to follow. Um, That's what I love the most about Hampshire is that it allows us to design our own future. Um, We don't need to follow a path that might not uh, for for us. To be honest right now, the temperature is the most your culture shock I'm having because, you know, I'm from the sea area. Um but there is something really charming about winter, also about autumn here in Hampshire, like having seasons for the first time in my life, it's been I really neat experience. Also, I will say that the biggest issue you have here is um probably that people is not that open as they are just saying that you know like having international friends who understand you and can also and give you their own experiences and share your culture and ask about your customs and your ways of thinking about things. It's such a nice experience. This is probably the most exciting experience in my entire life. I recommend everyone to go visit countries, a really special place. But I will say that having The Consortium, the Five College Consortium is a really good experience for people who are used to straight curriculums in universities because you are able to follow a path in some universities. But here you are more free to study whatever you want. And that's, I'm really grateful for that.
