Hi, my name is Cara and I'm currently studying at Glasgow Caledonian University. My course is called Computer-Aided Mechanical Engineering. The reason I actually picked up my course was when I was applying in my last year of high school when I was applying for uni, I was stuck between doing a kind of graphic side course or an engineering side course and it was, it was really starting to bother me. And when I've looked at Cale, I was like "oh you do mechanical Engineering" and then I found Computer-Aided Mechanical Engineering and I instantly put my name down for it. And it then became my dream uni and my dream course and here we are in my second year and I couldn't have asked for anything more. It's just been fabulous so far, everything's very spaced out that you know you may have a couple of tests on weeks but what they do is you get like a week to complete your tests, so you can all, you can work it all out that way. But actually now that we're in second year we can actually build everything there, right in front of us and see your work come to life. And it just shows that all your hard work isn't just for nothing. You actually get to see it. Most of our lectures are still online just because it is big, big classes. And I think the main difference between high school and uni, is that uniis a lot more relaxed, but I still feel like I'm getting more work done. This course is what I love and what I want to do and I'm less stressed going into these tests and I'm more calm and especially them being online. Well, most of them are online some of them are in class. It just gives you a little bit more space to breathe and I have been doing a lot better at uni, which just makes it so much easier. And overall I just think uni life is just amazing and I would highly recommend Cale.
