Hi, I'm Katie, I am a 4th year on the Occupational Therapy undergrad course at Glasgow Caledonian University. I like to take on additional opportunities. I care very much about the development of the course, Something that has helped me thrive is being involved in all of these additional things and sort of working groups, focus groups and development of the course, feeding back to different boards and and that's something that's available and it's there and if you're interested in it, the opportunity is absolutely there to get involved with it. So three reasons why I do love the university. Number one, I would say the opportunities there are for collaboration, for partnership with other students within the department, with staff. Number two, for reasons I love the university is, I've been very involved with the occupational therapy society, like the committee of that being involved with that, like the sense of community that that's brought about for me probably wouldn't have had the opportunity to meet if I hadn't been on the society. So that's something that I absolutely love. Um I love that I've been able to make those connections with other people. And number three for the things that I love about uni is definitely the staff within the department. I never thought that there could be such a level of collaboration between staff and students. That was something that was probably quite new to me. The support that they are willing to offer is amazing. Like it's outstanding, the support they're willing to offer. Something that I maybe didn't expect right at the start, but definitely a reason that I love the uni.
