Why did I choose my program and why I like it. So I'm 4th year Media and Communication student and personally when I was in high school, when I was applying to UCAS and applying to Unis I had no clue what I wanted to do. I changed my mind like year after year of all these different things I wanted to be and I really couldn't pick one specific like career path to go into. However my course and Media and Communications has so many career paths you can go into like everything you want, it's crazy. You can do TV you can do journalism, you can do radio, you can do marketing, you can do PR, social media, there's other opportunities you can go into like writing and photography, just anything that involves communications or media and I've had different opportunities to try out these fields of it. And I work at a local radio station, I did a summer internship, a marketing firm and been able to try out through the Uni and also through outside of uni opportunities. All the you know different tasters of careers and all the different classes I could go into. It's made me you know really do I wanted to do and see what's out there and you know, try a bit of everything before I picked something that I didn't know what I was getting into. And I would say that's the best thing about my course. My biggest passion at the moment is radio and I would have never found that passion without picking my course. It wouldn't be something I'd ever considered to go into. But once I started studying it at GCUI became obsessed and I fell in love with it and I do a weekly show at a local radio station and I had a partnership with the BBC. I did an internship there, I got some really exciting opportunities and I found something that I love that I just wouldn't have without picking the course that I picked.
