I'm here with the good friend of mine, Jackie mostly. Okay, Jackie, can you tell me why you chose your school? Um well, I told Georgia Southern because of, like, the campus, because it's very like everything is very close to one another. Not a big distance compared to, like, the huge schools and Georgia, like Yuji and stuff. Jackie, can you describe the student a body here? Georgia Southern? Well, that were predominantly a white school. We have a big population or percentage of international students and students of other race. Like, so far, I think I I have made a lot of friendships and relationships with the international students who are from either. You're Can you tell me a little about your major? Your workload? And how are your classes in that major? Um well, I'm majoring in marketing, and so far I haven't taken any of my major causes yet because we take them, like, junior and senior year. So right now I'm in my pre regulate requisites. Um, last semester I took in short a business, so you learn about each different type of business major we offer here and then Now I'm in economics, so macroeconomics. Like I took, uh, micro economics in high school, and it's like, kind of compared. There's like it's heavy lecture right now, but there's a lot of online homework, either quizzes or like, way fill in the blanks. So it's a lot of like reading and like understanding the material. It helps a lot, and you'LL understand more. Can you tell me like How is your class it up? Is it a huge advises that small clothes. So my insurance business cost was like in a the bigger size classes because it was like a head, a lecture, heavy cross, because it's like everybody in the business program has to take that cost. So it's very lecture based and also computer based. So it's like all of our tests around the computer homework's on the computer and now an economics like a smaller class of the public, forty students in there, and it's like more interaction with the teacher, and he does offer a lot of office hours, so we can, like, make our relationship with him. Then he also let's just learn about like other countries compared to us, because he is from Ghana. So he tells us a lot about like his lifestyle from Ghana to here and how much like it's similar and different, or like how their economy isn't. He, like, has a lot of knowledge about, like other economies, because he's like lived in a lot of different countries. Um, well, it's a pro would be like the size because is very big for, like the land they like make use of all the space. So it's like Nice, because it's like not a far walk like everywhere is like Probably top is like ten minutes. It's really nice because, like, I will go to like you, g ET or Georgia Tech, and it's like a very far walk, like even their buses take twenty minutes to get them to like their gym or anything. Like our campuses, very little at night time, unlike others. So it is very safe, and there's like all these emergency posts around, which is very nice at nighttime if you're walking alone or if you're walking with a group of friends that you like, might feel uncomfortable. Life, I guess, is that you have to be twenty one to enter any of the bars, unlike some places that might be eighteen. Like I've heard from, like, the older students that you have to pay to enter the board. So unlike other places where it's just a free entry, I heard that's like a deciding factor of students are going to go out at my time or not. Something doesn't have a lot of cons, but the day lot of pros, so can you tell me what defines Georgia Southern? What makes it different from other campuses in Georgia? Any other campus across the country? Um, well, I think we define this is like something my Nikon teacher, he always says he's like eagles. We soar above everybody else and it's like I feel like Georgia Southern does do that because we are even though we're a smaller school, we do have, like a lot of resource is we can use And like we have a new we're like buildings and living arrangements and just like technology to which, like allows us to be very like for it that allows us to be very advanced compared to some other schools like, um, even our living arrangements like, because we have our own space and like our freedom to do whatever in our own space. It allows us like not to be a stress than living with somebody like sharing a bathroom and having a communal restroom. It makes everything a lot like less stressful because, like, you have your own space to relax and like, calm down from the day. What advice would you give your high school scene yourself? Um, my advice is I would not slack off because I know like a lot of my friends did senior year, and it, like, honestly, does drop your G p a. And it like is the make or break for hope or Zel Miller. It's honestly look at all this scholarship opportunities because you can get easy money. So looking into tomorrow, for more financial aid, and I would also say, keep their relationships. You have but keep an open mind to the people you'LL meet and try not to like stick till like a certain group of people you want to meet. It's like, just be open to everybody, like even on your first day school, like just saying like Hello and the person next to you That's what I did. The person actually didn't want to talk to me so as I kind offered, But it's just like getting you still like talking to people because that helps with your people skills and getting comfortable, like talking to others in general that you might not want to talk to. Just keeping an open mind and like working hard, I'm sure that some very good advice So, Jackie, thank you for your time. I'll be at a blessed uh Okay, so well, see in the next video guy.
