So what are the positives and negatives of, um, attending Georgetown University? Uh, okay, positive negatives. We'll always like bad news first, so I guess I'll go over the negatives s O at Georgetown. You mind if I mind doing a little research about Georgetown or just typed it up? You might have noticed that a few years back there was a New York Times that economic breakdown of Georgetown. They saw that the demographics economically, and you saw that there's a lot of students at Georgetown that are from the top ten percent. Then there's a lot of folks from the top one percent in a lot of folks in the top point five percent, but not a lot of people from the bottom set. Um, so really, when you come here, you notice there's a really big despair. Um, which is kind of hard for a lot of students here. I mean, you have, like a lot of students that sort of like the crown prince of Greece. I'm not saying that bad people, but I'm just saying that a lot of these folks are able to get a lot of these. Resource is really fast, and I have a lot of great connections. Well, a lot of students here, our strong, sometimes just struggling to pay the seventy two thousand dollars tuition, or they're trying to just figure out what to do here once they get here. I, still trying to pick out majors and whatnot and because it can be really overwhelming, especially with workload, because it's hard. Even if you are doing well in classes and even if you have a great internship or even if you have a great job, we have great connections. I think that's a really big thing that a lot of students here at Georgetown feel, especially the students of color you always feel like you find behind. You always feel like you're slipping, and that probably explains why I feel like they're a lot of students, especially students of color that take, take leave or leaves of absence, especially for mental health reasons. It's just this is rough, it's overwhelming and it's a little soul crushing. On the flip side, there are a lot of great people here at Georgetown. I'm interested in government so that Georgetown is a perfect fit for me because it's number one for the government major in the country. It's located in D. C, which is and has really great accessibility towards Capitol Hill and other political internships, and also is pushed out a crap ton of politicians and different people work in politics. Other than that has a lot of great professors who I have worked many years inside of their fields and also a lot of care. A lot of them do care about their students I'm not saying all of them do because you defied you kind of find some that are a little rough, but the ones that care, they definitely do care. On my freshman year, especially, they looked out for me, especially when I was falling asleep in class. When they working too long, there's always asked me what was going wrong. Something took me out to dinner, especially checked up on me when things weren't going so right back home and especially students. Um, some of them are the ones that were actually helped me get on my internships over the summers. Actually, e mailing me those same opportunities, and I'm not gonna lie. Now I'm not saying you can't find that another college, but I'm just saying that I think that Georgetown has a lot of great resource is especially so the Hoi Alumni network. Yeah, I was with some of the good things about George people.
