Georgetown EMBA Classroom Review
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
What I loved about the class format and the executive M B A program at Georgetown was the rigor and the style by which they were delivered, as well as the fact that they were developed specifically for working professionals. So that allowed me to immediately apply the learnings and teachings from class into my work life. I love the fact that the format of the classes include both discussion and lecture, and the professors are always encouraging students to be prepared and participate in the lecture. And that's important because I and other folks in my cohort, we learn from each other. That really enriches our learning experience, because I can understand someone else's line of thinking on how they view a certain type of analysis or perspective on the case, and so that helped further strengthen my learning experience as well. The professors that delivered the lectures are well respected in academia, very accomplished in corporate America, and so what? I saw the value there was that they were able to bring their accomplishments and their work experience into the classroom to teach us real life examples on how we can apply some of the frameworks and best practices that we were taught in the lectures. For example, one of the classes I took was mergers and acquisitions with Professor Dan comments, which was an amazing class. He was able to invite others within his network to speak to us about strategy in terms of mergers and acquisitions and human resources and how we can think strategically along about an emanate deal. So that was something that was extremely helpful, and, uh, something you can only get at Georgetown. The professors are always available during office hours to answer any questions. They were extremely accessible and easy to talk to, and they were also very invested in my own growth and personal and professional development, which I found to be extremely value. Add that the professors are so invested in seeing you succeed.
