We're currently here in El Centro, which is the Spanish such Abby. What do you think of the language department here alone? So I really like the opportunity to have a place like this called El Centro. They also offer conversation classes and a lot of people. A lot of people love the conversation classes about the department as a whole. The classes are really easy, I think, because when I went abroad to Sylvia, Spain and the classes are much harder than they are here. So I feel like you didn't prepare me as much for going abroad. But they still offer really cool classes. Well, the way I want to take next semester is food and contemporary context. So we learned about that, and I did a Spanish like, looking at the media. I have one really good professor Ricky, but yeah, they really want you to succeed here. Teo having office hours or just like Rick even asked me to go to coffee like they'll just go to coffee with you and help you, or just, like, socialize with you. On it tell me a little bit about yourself, Okay? I'm a junior. I'm in Catholic Delta and I'm from Puerto Rico, and I studied broadcast journalism. So what is it like being an international student? Here you are. For me, it's really great because there's a lot of other international students from a lot of Hispanic country, so I can speak Spanish with them. It's really nice, because when I arrived, I didn't know if I was gonna find my place, because coming from somewhere where the cultures have different, I was nervous of fitting. I was able to find a community within yuan because of all the international students for me. It had a different name, but it is basically Latino Hispanic Union, and that's really great to get involved and see more of an activist side of things, but also how to embrace your culture. You maybe raised in the States but are from a Latino family for me. I hung out a lot in all Centro, which is where a lot of the international students would hang out just so they could speak Spanish throughout the day. There are a lot of students from Germany, Spain, France and some Italians. Yeah, it's pretty cool to meet people from all over.
