My name is Grace Warren, and I'm a current senior fashion design major here at C. C. A. D. And ever since I was a little kid, I always remember wanting to be a fashion designer. So when I found out that CCD had a fashion design program, I knew it was the school for me. I'm just gonna tell you a little bit about the transferring process to get to C C. A D. And also show you my everyday life here. After doing two years at a community college, I transferred to C. C. A. D. Because where I'm from, there's not a whole lot of opportunities as far as fashion design programs go. So when I found out that C. C. A. D had a fashion design program, I immediately started researching, and I scheduled a tour to come and see the campus, and I immediately fell in love with the campus and also the fashion design program. Also CCD is right in the middle of downtown Columbus, and I grew up in the city. The transfer process at C ce d, as I remember, was fairly simple. Um, your portfolio and written essays air super important when it comes Thio Ah, different scholarships. You can receive eso when you submit those as part of your application. You just really want to make sure those are perfected. Um, so CCD admissions counselors and advisers will be really helpful when it comes Thio reviewing the different transfer credits that will transfer over to C C D. And also getting you like your first schedule for your first semester here. My everyday life working remotely consist of I feel like nonstop work. Um, I would say I'm constantly working whether that be thinking of ideas for my senior collection, Um, or just sketching answering emails. I currently live in an off campus apartment with my roommate, but I'll show you a little bit of my space and how we kind of have it set up working remotely and everything. I have my calendar, um, my schedule for my classes, my planner, and just you know, a little things here and there. Or if I have any computer work, I'll just sit here and do that. So this is currently kind of the set up of our apartment. We have, like, our ironing board and our iron, um, and ar sewing machine and surgeries set up on our dining room table. Um, so not much eating happening here as there is constructing going on eso. Yeah, And then here's the rest of our apartment, and then we just have our little garment rack here with some of the clothes we've made so far. Um, that's come in handy since we don't have a lot of space extra space in our closets because we are fashion majors on Ben, just over here on the stove.
