This is the entrance to my dorm, John J. And most. So I live in John J, which is a freshman dorm, which is all singles. If you look here, you can actually see the floor plan of what a florin John General looks like. All these books right here are my books for the literature humanities course, which is required for all the students. I have some maps around my room for decoration, and everybody else gets a dress her like this. What I would recommend is getting a mini fridge because those help out a lot. Columbia actually has an ICO rep sale at the beginning of each year where people can go and buy use mini fridges. I did not get my many freed from that cell because usually they're smaller fridges, and sometimes they don't work. It's good if you want to make sure you're helping the environment. It's my window starts right now, so you can't see anything. I would highly recommend man books for anything in college. Columbia housing is that a lot of the dorms do not have air conditioning. So in the first summer months, it's pretty hot, humid, and there's not really much for ways back unless you have a giant family. My blankets, my bed, as I said, and all the closets are really nice. They come with a full length mirror and a shelf up above, and you could see my tie Paz my umbrella and is plenty of space shoes down there. Then under that storage, there's plenty of as well, I know a lot of people who have basically risen their beds and put their dressers underneath it as well as mini fridges. I did for you to say that for many bridges, you can rent a mini fridge microwave combo from the school, and that's actually the only way you're allowed to have a microwave in your roof. My hot water maker Columbia actually doesn't allow coffeemakers in dorms. Funny, I have a wife, keyboard, mouse, some other office utensils here, and then there's just lots of storage empties different drawers. Then I keep my shower caddy bottoms through here. Of course, I think that's an essential that everybody should know about before coming to college. Having a coward shop shower caddy is really essential, and one of the things about my dorm that is really awesome is my view. If you look out my window here, I can see all of South Lawn. Every night I get to see beautiful sunsets like this. It's one of the things that just makes my day club. On each floor we have these elevator wells, the board brothers, weekly postings and we have a lounge. This is what our lounge looks like, kind of messy right now, but a lot of times will get together and watch TV here, and that's a good community.
