Getting Into Columbia

Okay, so Colombia is obviously a very selective school. I believe the acceptance rate for my class was five and a half percent, but that said, with a lot of schools like this is really often of shot in the dark, trying to get in. You get to that point where you know that you are equivalent most of not everybody who are going to get into these schools hand that you should your shot and you hope you get it. I think there's a little bit of chance that place in all of it. I think Columbia does a really good job out looking at a holistic review. As long as you really show your passions and show that you've done things to pursue those passions, you have a good chance of getting in because I'll be honest. I didn't get the greatest test scores, especially compared to the people at Columbia. I believe the other parts of my application and the other things that I've done for extracurriculars really helped me get in here. I also applied early decision, which I think was a good choice for me because I knew for a long time that I wanted to come to Columbia. I would say that if you are not one hundred percent sure that you want to come to Columbia, do not apply early decision. I think it helps a little bit getting in, but it doesn't not help that much. That you should do it if you are not one hundred percent sure. After I got into Columbia, I felt myself wondering Oh, what if I What if I don't hear what? What if I had applied here? But I'm ultimately very happy with my choice. I think as long as you're confident and you put yourself out there on your application, you have a great chance of getting in here.
