Political Climate at Columbia
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
I do want to briefly touch on the political life at Columbia because Colombia is definitely very politically charged school. It's ah known for being one of the greatest schools for protests, and I have seen multiple protests going on in the same place at the same time at Columbia S. O. And this stereotypes definitely hold up. It's interesting to note that Colombia is very, very liberal, which isn't a bad thing. It's just very homogeneous in terms of political views are not end of the spectrum. I know there's a survey done that said, I think five percent of Columbia students for Republicans. So if that plays into any role in where you're deciding Tio, that's good to know. Most college campuses are going to be very liberal anyway, because that's the time when people are experimenting with that type of thought. The Columbia community overall is very accepting. No matter what your political beliefs are, everybody gets along. We have great conversations, and I think that's what makes it all the better. Is you have that diversity and you're able tto have these tough conversations. Sometimes in terms of political spirit that diversity can be lacking and the conversations can often be very agreeable and not really addressing the hard questions, rather just agreeing to everything everybody says.
