See, I'm 22 years old and I'm currently a student here at the College of Muscovy Nation. I decided to start my journey here at the college during the spring of 2019. I was a cosmetologist who had gone to cosmetology school in Norman to pursue a degree. I worked in the cosmetology industry for about a year and a half when I had decided that I wanted to do something more with my life. During that time I had realized that I wanted to further my education into something that would be more productive into the society and into my local communities. So when I was in high school, I had attended the college Muscogee Nation as a concurrent students. I already had some hours underneath my belt, so I already knew if I ever wanted to come back to college, I had that opportunity available to me. So after I had finished my cosmetology career at the end of 2018, I have made the bold decision to move back home and go to the College of Moscow, G nation in my hometown of old monkey. I'm associated member of the Tribe, Moscow Creek. I'm also a member of the Golgi clan or the Raccoon Plan. Well, as I came to the College of Miscegenation during the spring of 2019, I had had a class of biology with my highest Sanders. As I was taking this course with my highest Sanders, I had decided that I had a deep love for science. Ask her about an opportunity and joining the ASIS Society, which is the American Indian Science and Engineering Society. This'll Club offers Ah lot of internships and opportunities for the students to continue on their education with her encouragement, along with the encouragement of the other faculty members here at the College of Miscegenation, and encouraged me to continue my education and not to give up on this dream and go back into the cosmetology world made me open my eyes to a lot more of the things that are happening in the world and with our own tribe as well. So during the winter of 2018, I had my sister come up here and help me enroll for the spring of 2019. I was a little scared because I was returning back to college after the age of 20. I was learning things at that moment that would help me further along the line.
