Hey, guys, Uh, I just wanted to cover some, I think two questions that people have about the university of some things that you might wonder about but never really have access to in terms of someone's opinion or how things feel or just the culture around the campus. So the first point I'm gonna cover is, Is this a royal campus or is this an urban campus like, What is it? And the answer I always tell people went when they ask is, uh, it's pretty much of the beat. Um, literally about twelve miles down the road is Myrtle Beach on the heart of the entertainment district at Myrtle Beach. Other places you really don't get best other places I know some schools like in New Jersey, a couple that are close to the shore, but this is on the short. A lot of our sports teams used to slogan battle the beach because they're referencing the distance to the shoreline and how close they are. It's considered a battle to be Wei have a beach volleyball team that literally plays on Myrtle Beach just down the road. So that's really what I would say. If you think that's something you're into, it's definitely something taking the consideration. Uh, the other thing I wanted to talk about with school size. Now, a lot of people, we'll say that this is like a medium size university. So my old school, it was about a thousand of graduates, and here there's about ten thousand undergraduates, so it's roughly roughly the same. I would definitely say that this school feels much bigger, think just because of the weather, which we'll talk about it a minute. The weather really does bring more people outside and open up more opportunities for activities outside. So you really interact with people Mohr and you see more people. So it might just get this feeling of I'm in a bigger university, even though you're really not in comparison other place that no Penn State has, like sixty thousand kids. We want ten, so the numbers don't stack up to the bigger schools. I think it was really just the culture around the university is what really makes it feel a little bit bigger. If that's something that you're certainly so sang Wang right into whether I want to talk about has a little bit to do with why I came here, I actually chose to come here because of the warmer temperatures of really up there on my things. My reasons for coming my old school was very cold, like getting into the winner and December January months. You're looking at like, below zero, sometimes a cz lows. It was really just a gross, wet, rainy environment that I just didn't really. I feel, too, and it got to the point where I kind of always got those in high school. I would always get those winter blues in January and February. Once you get back for breaks, it was just like an environment that I didn't feel motivated. I didn't feel like getting out of bed in the morning so cold you still want to get out from under the covers. It's the middle of October right now towards the end on the weak, the highs on the week You're looking at mid seventies, I know yesterday was eighty degrees. That's really a great place to be in terms of a nice weather. So a lot of room for activity, a lot of a lot of opportunities to get outside and be active and study outside versus sit in your room or library. I'm not saying those were good places to study. I'm just saying that there's a lot of opportunities for you to summarize. Um, it has a bigger feeling as the university has a bigger feelings, a bigger feeling school. Even though it only has ten thousand kids on DH, the weather here is fantastic. Maybe not as nice as Florida, but you do get those autumn chills like right now. Today I'm wearing a sweatshirt, even though it's I think it's only like sixty one today. I hope you enjoyed and take some of this into your consideration when you Awesome.
