What To Pack For College!!
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
Hey, guys, let's make it in today I'm here with another video, and today I have a college avenue for you guys because all I have been doing the past week is packing for college and packing for song. Four year is completely different freshman year, but it just completely different stuff. I'm moving out and into an apartment, though the living situation's different and stuff. When the year was over, I thought it would be a good time to make a packing for college video because I know so many of you guys are going to college and you're probably getting sad. Or maybe you're getting really excited. I'm here to tell you, as you should get really, really freaking excited. I think I did both of them last year and write down like categories and just stuff everything you think you're gonna need and then go through that list and, like, go back and, like, narrow it down like, do I really need, like, 10 sweatshirts? Because when I was packing last year, I was like sweatshirts and prophecies. 10 or a number and amount or something of how many of that item I was bringing. Now that I look back, I was bringing way, way, way too much stuff. If you wanna live a clean, stress free environment where your closet is not overflowing don't bring too much stuff because, honestly, you're not gonna wear half of it. Don't think you need to bring every single thing I got to tell you guys in the second like what to bring and what to bring a lot of and what not to bring a lot of. When you're packing, try on your clothes because stuff may not fit you that you think you want to bring stuff that you put on, you may not even like anymore. Make sure that you still like the stuff and that you're actually gonna wear, because if you're not, it needs to go in another pile. That's actually my 4th 10 My forthem is to make a pile of stuff to give away while packing, whether that's stuff in your room, clothes, shoes, whatever. It's just make a pile of stuff to bring to goodwill or to sell at someplace or some thrift store or something. You can bring that there before you leave, maybe make some extra cash. My next thing I want to talk about is what to bring. I have clothing and then I have, like, stuff for the dorm. 1st 1 sweatshirts and legging, that is the first thing I would say to bring is all that I wore to class. You don't really dress up for class unless you're doing something later that day. Like a tank top of leggings like you just were really, really comfy casual clothes to college like there's no dress code. So bring a good amount of sweatshirts and leggings that you have it or just bring your favorites, at least because that's probably what you're gonna wear nine out of 10 times to class number two going out clothes for, like, parties and stuff. At least in my case, this is like the top two things that I needed to bring because our friends now we're going out all the time to, like, not even like parties. For going out to, like, frosted like little parties and stuff, you're gonna wanna have some, like, good, cute stuff you can wear to just bring some, like going out close over me. A lot of people say this in their college videos, but honestly, the pair of shoes that you go out and are going to be so, so ruined and so just have, like, a pair of sneakers you bought for like, 30 bucks 50 bucks, like a long time together, really dirty or despite like a cheap pair of converse or something off like a thrift store. Like whatever it is, just like a cheap pair of shoes to be ableto wear out to parties and stuff because they're gonna get ruined it brats and all that stuff. Pack all the other items unless you're really gonna wear, like, think it through really hard this year when I'm packing. I There's so much stuff that I brought last year that I'm leaving at home because they didn't wear it and it was a good learning experience. It's hard not to over pack, but if you really, really want to fit everything that you're bringing from home, you can fit it. I have to fly to my school now for stuff you need, actually, 10 bullet points foods. That was really, really helpful for us having a little vacuum just made. Number three storage bins for under your bed or on top of like, closets and stuff bring like two or three of those not too many. Not too big, because I don't really know like what your dorm will look like. To throw a bunch of stuff in there and hide at Syria Room doesn't look messy. When it had to make something, I just used one of my usual things washing out after and then backward goes Number six laundry stuff. The mattresses that come with the college buds are disgusting and really, really comfortable betting. Everyone will get to my bed, say that my sheets are comfortable and I'm not just telling you guys this number eight, a little bit of duck or to make you really feel about homie. Just something to make it seem a little bit more decorative and like a little bit more homey on number nine. I really want to make this video because it's really, really helpful to know what to bring and what not to bring. I just had to go through and tell you guys some of the tips and some of stuff that I wish I didn't know last year. I'm really excited to belong my whole moving into my apartment experience and show you guys a bunch of furniture that I bought.
