Muskie's It's I'm on back for another video, and this video is titled Surviving and Thriving College 11 Basically. So this is just something some tips that I think are really helpful when getting to college or being in college that you know any student can benefit from. My 1st 1 is for mainly incoming students or, you know, anyone in general is exploiter new home exploiter land You never, never, never know all the endless possibilities that a university could offer. Or maybe some hidden gem areas, which I know there's other videos on in here that say all of our hidden gem. So definitely check those out, but definitely going to explore any new part of the campus. New Club's New org's new adventures that you could possibly go on with friends like There are so many different things that may not be similar to where you're coming from or where you came from at home, and coming to your second new home is important to get to know where you are. So definitely take a couple walks around campus when you get here, even if you already have been in school for 23 years. Go see if you can find anything else that's new. If someone wants to join a club or organization with you, say yes to going toe. Any social events on campus say yes to just doing a bunch of different things that could potentially, like rocket ship your life into a new dimension like it is so important that we say yes to the things that you never know could have came from, You know? So in this sense that maybe my friend wants to go play for his beyond the quad, say yes, Just go. It's so much fun and it's just a new atmosphere to be round like, Have you ever just sound your quad and just enjoyed it? Enjoy the views. So meaning that if you feel like maybe your life is a little bit out of police, maybe you don't have all your stuff together. Maybe you just need a buckle down and get to work on some things, get it organized. Reminders of my fault, I said, Reminders in my calendar. Anything to make sure that I know where I'm supposed to be. You know what I'm supposed to be doing at time? Day place, so on and so forth. So being organized is really helpful, especially as a college student, because if you thought you did a lot in high school, you're gonna do like 50 times more things in college. It's really true what they say, like your life will be hectic and you need to keep it managed. Your professors were supposed to be there for you and answer any questions or help you could potentially need and talking to them. Getting to know them is really important because it's good to know a face and a basis with someone who's definitely teaching you knowledge that you're supposed to be, you know, absorb in. If you're not absorbing it right then and there, it's important to talk to them. It's important to just get out like a like a background with them, knowing that in the future that you may need letters of recommendation. Hey, that might be an outlet for you of a letter of recommendation. It's just something that could be important to you when the time comes. Um if you're a lower classman, So it's just like a freshman sophomore talkto upperclassmen, an upperclassman talked to lower talkto lower classman because getting to know these connections with different people could be awesome for the future and awesome in the present meaning that creating friends creating out let's create new networking. You never know what alumni are out there that seniors could potentially have need to get in touch with for future jobs. So just make sure you're talking to new people always making new connections and, you know, starting off on the right foot with different people. Getting that great first impression with anyone and then going back to the professor is getting a great impression with your professor is so important. What life could I offer you if you just said yes, meeting people, explore your new home and just stay organized. Keep it all together because the more that you're organized more, your life is organized in the happier you are. Stress feed for stress, for he's a really good thing.
