Professors, Rome, and Organizations: What I Love About Berry College with Camille
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
I love the fact that the classes are so small and you can have like one on one meetings with your teacher. They have office hours so you can just go to them if you need help and they're never super busy. They always like, will make time for you, which is really nice, like the professors here really care about your success and it's not competitive, like state schools, like the teachers actually want you to succeed and do well in their classes and you have, you have no competition from your other students, you're all just like trying to do the best that you can and your professors really help with that. Another reason why I like Berry is even though it's a closed campus, uh the city of Rome is just right outside the gate so you can go down there and like walk around. Um there's a river that flows right through the city, which you can walk over a pretty bridge, you can go shopping heather's restaurants downtown on Broad Street, which is super nice for the students here to like get a feel of like a downtown city area even though it's not really a city. Also, something else I love about Berry is that there's so many clubs and organizations that you can join and they're also super easy to join. Um It's that competitiveness of state schools, like doesn't apply to Berry because it's so small, which is nice. Basically like whatever club you want to join, you can do that and you're not competing with other students. Um for example, I just joined the rowing team a few weeks ago and I have never rowed a day in my life, but I was able just to join the team without zero experience and everybody from the first day of practice was like super uplifting, like they all wanted me to do well. Um and I love it honestly, it's been a really good experience, but that just like really goes to show that you can do anything you want to here at Berry and you have the opportunity to do that, you have the opportunity to succeed and nobody's like competing with you or like pushing you down, like everybody wants you to do well and to suceed.
