The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
Housing at Berry is pretty traditional, like dorm style residence halls, you can see behind me, this is Dana Hall and most freshman and sophomore or mostly freshmen live in dana. And then you can also live in Morton Lemley which is mainly a freshman hall. Um But it's just like community style, like traditional dorm buildings. Um so there's a hall and then it's all the same gender on one hall and then they have a community bathroom that you all share and then the laundry room and a kitchen. That's pretty nice. The halls are split up either by building or by floor. So for dana, um this is West Dana, so that's all girls and then right here is central Dana, so it's boys and girls and then in front of me you can't see it but it's the same, look at this one, it's just all boys. So it's either split up by building or hall and Morton Lemley, it's like girls, boys girls. So inside each particular room it comes with a dresser, a desk, a bed and that's it. So all of your furniture that you need for a typical room, but you're gonna want to bring a fridge, a microwave, maybe a futon if you want that. Um and then obviously decorations like posters, tapestries, bedsheets, obviously. This is what a normal room and dana looks like. So we have two closets and then the furniture that comes with the room and usually there's a little bit of open space for you to put a futon or anything. And then the rooms in dana have a sink. Morton Lemley does not have a sink though. The washer and dryers are free to use at Berry so you don't have to put in your quarters or anything. You just have to supply your own detergent, but you can go in and use the laundry room like whenever you want. So freshman year I met my roommate through just random search because I didn't come in with knowing any girls. So I just went random and it actually turned out to be pretty good. Um We got along fine. We're good roommates. And then this year, sophomore year um I met a close friend so I just decided to room with her and it's been pretty good. And then junior and senior year, you're probably gonna live in more apartment style or a townhouse setup. So you're still gonna have a roommate but you'll have your own kitchen in your own living area. So that can either be four people or six people to an apartment or townhouse set up. Whatever you choose.
